We at the Association of Guardians ad Litem in Ireland (AGALI) respect your right to privacy and comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003. This Privacy Statement sets out how we deal with any personal data you provide to us while visiting this website. By visiting the AGALI website, you are accepting the terms of this Privacy Statement. Any external links to other website are clearly identifiable as such, and we are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of these other websites.

AGALI may collect personal data which identifies you or can be used to identify or contact you. This includes name, postal or email address, telephone number and other contact information you provide on our online forms. Such information is only collected from you if you voluntarily submit it to us via our website.

If you take out membership or make another purchase on the website you will be asked to provide your credit/debit card number, we do not receive these details, they are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL Software”) and are transmitted directly to our payment providers (Stripe) and are permanently deleted from our servers when payment is made.

We will process this information to:

  • Provide you with the goods or services you have ordered or requested e.g. AGALI membership
  • To contact you if required in connection with your order or to respond to any communications you might send to us
  • To send you updates from AGALI and communication about our activities

  • To process your payment for membership.
  • To register your interest in and communicate with you about our work and activities
  • To respond to your queries and information requests.

No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
